Candyman 4K Ultra HD brings Bernard Rose’s haunting horror classic to collectors in a stunning new 4K restoration approved by the director. Adapted from Clive Barker’s short story “The Forbidden,” this chilling urban legend tale remains one of the most iconic and thought-provoking horror films of the 1990s.

While researching urban legends, graduate student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) becomes obsessed with the story of the Candyman — a hook-handed spirit said to appear when his name is spoken five times into a mirror. Her investigation leads her into Chicago’s Cabrini-Green housing projects, where myth and reality begin to blur.

As Helen delves deeper, she finds herself drawn into the Candyman’s terrifying world, discovering that some legends are far more real than they seem. Featuring a mesmerizing performance by Tony Todd and an unforgettable score by Philip Glass, Candyman blends psychological horror with social commentary to devastating effect.
