Flic Story 4K Ultra HD presents Jacques Deray’s 1975 French crime thriller in a UK import release from StudioCanal. Based on a true story, the film stars Alain Delon as police detective Roger Borniche and Jean-Louis Trintignant as fugitive criminal Emile Buisson.
After escaping from an asylum, Buisson begins a violent crime spree, drawing Borniche into a long and determined pursuit. As the investigation stretches across years, the film becomes a tightly controlled procedural about obsession, patience and the work of closing in on a dangerous target.
Starring Alain Delon, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Claudine Auger and Renato Salvatori, Flic Story is a cool, methodical slice of 1970s French crime cinema. This UK import 4K Ultra HD edition features a new UHD-SDR restoration, video essay, archival interview extract, audio commentary, trailer, booklet and new artwork by Thomas Hodge.
