Night of the Vamp-Friars 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is a throwback to the regional independent horror films of the 1980s and early 1990s, written, directed and edited by Kurtis M. Spieler and shot on film with practical effects and a deliberately lo-fi aesthetic.

Roxy, an anthropology student and DJ at her university radio station, becomes fascinated when a caller shares a local legend about a hidden Connecticut cemetery where a group of outcast friars were supposedly killed and buried after townspeople believed them to be vampires.

Hoping to turn the story into a thesis topic, Roxy convinces her friends in a punk band to join her on a camping trip in search of the burial ground. When they discover the cemetery is real and accidentally spill blood on the cursed ground, the undead friars rise from their graves in search of new victims.
