The Misfits 1961 Limited Edition Hardbox 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray presents John Huston’s haunting late-Hollywood drama in a 2-disc Australian import release. Written by Arthur Miller, the film stars Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe in what would become the final screen performances of both actors.

While filing for divorce in Reno, Roslyn Taber meets aging cowboy and gambler Gay Langland and former World War II aviator Guido Racanelli. Both men are quickly drawn to her, and the three move into Guido’s unfinished desert home. When former rodeo rider Perce Howland joins them, the group becomes involved in capturing wild horses, forcing Roslyn to confront the harsher realities behind their way of life.

Shot in striking black-and-white widescreen by cinematographer Russell Metty, The Misfits is an elegiac portrait of loneliness, fading ideals and people struggling to find their place in a changing America. This Limited Edition Hardbox includes the film on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, Dolby Vision / HDR10, new commentary, documentaries, archival material and a 60-page hardcover booklet.
