A cornerstone of underground horror cinema, Basket Case remains one of the most notorious and beloved midnight movies of the 1980s.

Duane Bradley appears to be an ordinary young man checking into a rundown New York hotel. But hidden in his wicker basket is Belial — his formerly conjoined twin, now a deformed, vengeful creature. Together, the brothers stalk the city in search of the doctors responsible for their separation, unleashing a wave of bloody retribution across grimy, pre-gentrification Manhattan. Shot on a shoestring and fueled by pure exploitation energy, Basket Case clawed its way from grindhouse obscurity to cult immortality.

directed by: Frank Henenlotter
starring: Kevin Van Hentenryck, Beverly Bonner, Terri Susan Smith
1982 / 91 min / English

Number of discs: 1

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0747/8096/6982/files/file_967af310-66b9-467e-bdd4-1bce409de50d.jpg?v=1791342210
