Beatrice Cenci Limited Edition [Blu-ray]

Beatrice Cenci Limited Edition Blu-ray presents Lucio Fulci’s 1969 historical drama in a 1-disc release from 88 Films. Also known as The Conspiracy of Torture, the film retells the tragic true story of the Cenci family, one of Italy’s most notorious scandals of the late 16th century.

Told across two timelines, the film explores the events that led to the fall of a powerful family and the trial of Beatrice Cenci. Through betrayal, corruption and abuse of power, Fulci builds a bleak portrait of injustice, faith and punishment in Renaissance Italy.

Starring Adrienne La Russa, Tomas Milian and Georges Wilson, Beatrice Cenci is often considered one of Fulci’s most personal and accomplished films. This limited edition Blu-ray includes a 2K restoration from the original negative, remastered English and Italian audio, commentary, interviews, reversible sleeve and O-ring slipcase.
