In Los Angeles in 2027, cyborg police officer Alex is sent after Jared, his former partner and lover. Commissioner Farnsworth claims she is supplying sensitive information to terrorists planning attacks on government officials. Alex’s mission takes him into a world of enhanced criminals and cyborg outlaws, where the conflict between humans and machines becomes increasingly difficult to untangle. Albert Pyun directs Olivier Gruner and Tim Thomerson, with a supporting cast including Brion James, Thomas Jane, Jackie Earle Haley and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
