Rubber's Lover Limited Edition Repress (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Rubber's Lover Limited Edition Repress Blu-ray delivers an intense and disorienting descent into cyberpunk horror, blending experimental filmmaking with extreme sensory chaos.

Set within a world of rogue scientific experimentation, the film follows a group of researchers pushing the limits of human perception through drugs, technology and psychic manipulation. As their work spirals out of control, the boundaries between reality and hallucination collapse, leading to a nightmarish fusion of body horror and psychological breakdown.

Directed by Shozin Fukui, the film stands as a defining entry in underground Japanese cyberpunk cinema, pairing abrasive visuals with a relentless atmosphere of paranoia and decay. Shot in stark black and white, its raw aesthetic amplifies the film’s unsettling tone, creating an experience that feels both confrontational and hypnotic.
