Sahara Standard Edition (UK Import) [Region B Blu-ray]

Sahara SE Blu-ray presents Zoltán Korda’s 1943 World War II drama in a UK import Standard Edition from Indicator. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Bruce Bennett and J. Carrol Naish, the film is a tense desert survival story of endurance, duty and resistance under impossible conditions.

After the fall of Tobruk, Master Sergeant Joe Gunn and his tank crew are separated from their unit and forced to cross the Sahara. Along the way, they pick up soldiers, stragglers and prisoners, forming an uneasy group whose survival depends on the last water from a depleted well.

When a German battalion closes in, Gunn and the others must defend their position against overwhelming odds. Shot under harsh desert conditions and supported by extensive U.S. Army participation, Sahara remains a gritty and stirring wartime adventure built around courage, sacrifice and survival.
