The Bride From Hades Standard Edition [Blu-ray]

The Bride From Hades Blu-ray presents a haunting and elegant tale of doomed love, blending supernatural folklore with the eerie beauty of classic Japanese ghost cinema.

The Bride From Hades Blu-ray follows noble samurai Shinzaburo, who becomes entranced by the mysterious courtesan Otsuyu after she begs him to rescue her from a life of suffering. As their relationship deepens, he fails to realise the chilling truth behind her existence. What begins as romance soon spirals into obsession, as those around him attempt to break the grip of a love that transcends death itself.

Written by Yoshikata Yoda, known for his work on Ugetsu, and directed by Satsuo Yamamoto, this atmospheric ghost story pairs emotional tragedy with striking visual composition, helping lay the groundwork for later supernatural classics and influencing generations of J-horror.
