The Lion in Winter (Australian Import) [4K Ultra HD]

The Lion in Winter 4K Ultra HD presents Anthony Harvey’s acclaimed historical drama starring Peter O’Toole, Katharine Hepburn and Anthony Hopkins. Set during Christmas 1183, the film turns royal succession into a sharp, witty and ruthless battle of family politics.

King Henry II’s three sons all want to inherit the throne, but Henry refuses to name a successor. When he allows his imprisoned wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine, to join the family for Christmas, old rivalries and new schemes quickly rise to the surface.

As each family member plots to force Henry’s hand, The Lion in Winter becomes a tense and darkly funny drama of power, loyalty and betrayal. This Australian import 4K Ultra HD release is part of the StudioCanal Classics Remastered line.
