The Sinful Nuns of Saint Valentine Limited Edition (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

The Sinful Nuns of Saint Valentine LE Blu-ray presents Sergio Grieco’s 1974 Italian cult drama in a UK import limited edition from Indicator. Freely adapted from the writings of Victor Hugo, the film blends gothic atmosphere, exploitation cinema and horror-tinged melodrama into a story of forbidden love, corruption and religious hypocrisy.

In sixteenth-century Spain, Lucita is forced into a convent by her family in order to separate her from her lover, Esteban. Determined to reach her, Esteban infiltrates the convent and discovers the dangerous power structures controlling Lucita’s fate.

Starring Françoise Prévost, Jenny Tamburi and Paolo Malco, The Sinful Nuns of Saint Valentine is a notable entry in Italian genre cinema. This UK import LE Blu-ray includes a brand-new 4K restoration, commentary, documentaries, improved subtitles and a limited edition booklet.
