The Snake Prince Limited Edition Blu-ray presents a visually striking Shaw Brothers fantasy that blends myth, horror and tragic romance into one of the studio’s more unusual late-era productions.
Set on a mystical mountain, three serpent spirits seek to transform into humans after centuries of existence. Drawn to the beauty and ritual of a nearby village, their desires ignite a chain of events filled with passion, jealousy and destruction. What begins as fascination soon spirals into a dark and emotional tale where human longing and supernatural forces collide.
Directed by Lo Chen and starring Ti Lung, the film stands out for its eerie atmosphere and bold mix of folklore and sensuality, marking a unique entry in the Shaw Brothers catalogue.
directed by: Lo Chen
