Where We Ship
Peak Books ships within Canada only. We do not currently ship internationally.
Shipping Rates
Standard shipping is $6.99 for eligible single-item orders and $9.99 for orders containing two or more items. Some thicker or heavier single items may also require the $9.99 shipping rate.
Free standard shipping is available on qualifying orders of $125 or more after discounts and before tax and shipping. Orders updated after purchase may also qualify based on the combined merchandise total after discounts. Final shipping options and rates are shown at checkout.
Processing Times
In-stock orders normally ship within 1–2 business days once every item in the order is available and ready to ship.
Orders containing pre-orders, Arriving Soon items, or Special Orders are held until the complete order is ready. Customers who want available items sooner should place them as a separate order.
Pre-Orders
Release dates are estimates provided by distributors and manufacturers and may change. A listed release date is not a guaranteed Peak Books ship date or delivery date.
Pre-orders ship once inventory has arrived at Peak Books and the complete order is available and ready to fulfill. Inventory may arrive before or after the listed release date.
Import titles may arrive later because of international distribution, customs, carrier, manufacturing, or other delays outside our control.
Delivery Estimates
Delivery generally takes 2–8 business days after shipment. Remote destinations, shipments without tracking, carrier volume, weather, and other carrier delays may affect delivery time.
Delivery estimates are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed.
Tracking and Carriers
Most orders include tracking. The carrier and service used may vary depending on the item type, order size, destination, and available carrier service.
Eligible single-item orders may be shipped using Canada Post Oversized Lettermail when appropriate for the item and destination. This may include shipments to PO Boxes, remote destinations, or other locations where an untracked Canada Post service is suitable.
Shipments sent without tracking do not include tracking updates or delivery scans.
Adding to or Combining Orders
Items may be added to a pending, unfulfilled order while order editing is available. Any additional amount due must be paid before the changes are completed. If the updated merchandise total reaches our free-shipping threshold after discounts, free standard shipping will apply where eligible. Combined orders ship together once all items are available.
Pending orders may also be combined where practical. If combined orders qualify for free shipping or include duplicate shipping charges, eligible duplicate or excess shipping charges may be refunded.
Shipping adjustments for combined orders may be reviewed case by case for remote destinations, PO Boxes, oversized or unusually heavy shipments, or orders requiring an alternate shipping service.
Lost or Missing Shipments
Lost or missing shipments are reviewed based on the shipping service used and the carrier information available.
Tracked shipments will be investigated with the carrier before a resolution is provided. Shipments without tracking may have limited carrier information available for review.
Local Pickup
Free Calgary pickup is available when offered at checkout.
Please wait until you receive your Ready for pickup email before coming to collect your order. Current pickup instructions and booking details will be provided when your order is ready.
Orders containing pre-orders, Arriving Soon items, or Special Orders will not be ready for pickup until every item in the order is available.
Steelbook Packaging
Steelbooks are securely packed in a box with protective bubble wrap to help prevent damage during transit. Steelbooks are never shipped in bubble mailers.
