A Quiet Place in the Country Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray presents Elio Petri’s unsettling 1968 psychological horror film in a new 4K restoration of the original negative. Franco Nero stars opposite Vanessa Redgrave in a surreal exploration of artistic obsession, desire and madness, accompanied by an eerie score from Ennio Morricone.

Leonardo is a celebrated artist plagued by disturbing nightmares that leave him unable to complete his work. Encouraged by his agent and sometime lover Flavia to escape the pressures of the city, he purchases a secluded country villa and becomes increasingly obsessed with uncovering the story of its previous owner.

Part ghost story and part meditation on the creative process, A Quiet Place in the Country filters the excesses and anxieties of the late 1960s through Petri’s distinctive filmmaking. This Limited Edition includes the feature on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, Dolby Vision and HDR presentation, interviews, commentary, trailer, booklet and collectible Scanavo packaging.
