Adult Version Of Jekyll & Hide + The Erotic Adventures of Zorro [Blu-ray]

Adult Version Of Jekyll & Hide Blu-ray Set delivers two of David F. Friedman’s most infamous late-era sexploitation features in newly restored presentations, pairing soft-X horror with campy period comedy at the outer limits of early 1970s drive-in cinema. Presented in partnership with Something Weird Video and Distribpix, this double feature captures a moment when exploitation filmmakers gleefully collided classic literary myths and pop-culture icons with nudity, sleaze, and genre excess.

In The Adult Version of Jekyll & Hide, Dr. Charles Leeder stumbles upon the long-lost diary of Henry Jekyll and uses its transformational formula to unleash his alter ego, the seductive and deadly “Miss Hide.” What follows is a twisted blend of erotic horror and murder mystery, anchored by Rene Bond’s iconic exploitation performance and driven by David F. Friedman’s instinct for outrageous shock value. The Erotic Adventures of Zorro shifts gears into lavish, softcore swashbuckling, as Don Diego dons the masked persona of Zorro to liberate a Mexican village from corrupt military rule, all while juggling romance, disguise, and escalating erotic hijinks.

Both films are newly restored in 4K from their original 35mm camera negatives and appear on Blu-ray for the first time. This special limited edition set includes premium packaging designed by Richard Hilliard and an exclusive booklet examining Friedman’s enduring legacy as one of exploitation cinema’s most audacious figures.
