Amorous Sisters Limited Edition [Blu-ray]

Amorous Sisters LE Blu-ray presents a lavish European cult comedy from prolific Swiss filmmaker Erwin C. Dietrich, featuring genre icon Brigitte Lahaie in one of the producer-director's most visually ambitious productions. Blending playful comedy, glamorous locations and the unmistakable style of European exploitation cinema, the film remains a notable entry in Dietrich's extensive filmography.

Jenny and Juliet are two free-spirited sisters attending an exclusive finishing school where conventional lessons quickly take a back seat to romance, mischief and a series of increasingly outrageous adventures. Under the watchful eye of the school's charismatic headmistress, the pair navigate a world filled with eccentric characters, unexpected encounters and endless opportunities for trouble. What follows is a lighthearted and deliberately provocative comedy that embraces the carefree spirit of late-1970s and early-1980s European genre filmmaking.

Beyond its cult reputation, Amorous Sisters stands out for its polished production values, picturesque locations and memorable musical score by longtime Dietrich collaborator Walter Baumgartner. Restored from the filmmaker's own materials, this edition offers a fresh look at a distinctive chapter of European exploitation cinema.
