Anna and the Apocalypse (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Anna and the Apocalypse Blu-ray delivers a wildly inventive genre mash-up that fuses zombie carnage, teen comedy, and full-blown musical numbers into a holiday horror cult favourite. Set during Christmas in the quiet town of Little Haven, the film follows high-schooler Anna and her friends as a sudden undead outbreak forces them to fight, slash, and sing their way through collapsing civilization. Candy-coloured musical sequences collide with brutal zombie mayhem, creating a tone that’s both heartfelt and gleefully irreverent.

Directed by John McPhail, Anna and the Apocalypse balances sincere coming-of-age emotion with splattery practical effects and infectious pop-punk songs. Its cult reputation has only grown thanks to its fearless genre blending and emotional punch, culminating in a finale that refuses easy sentimentality. This UK import Blu-ray includes both the theatrical and extended cuts, along with a deep slate of bonus features exploring the film’s creation, music, and festival legacy.
