Betty Blue Blu-ray presents Jean-Jacques Beineix’s incendiary 1986 cult classic, also known as 37.2 in the Morning, in a definitive multi-version release. Zorg, a laid-back handyman with literary ambitions, drifts through life until he meets Betty — beautiful, impulsive, and dangerously unstable. What begins as an intensely erotic romance gradually fractures under the weight of obsession, jealousy, and mental collapse, transforming passion into tragedy with devastating inevitability.

Boldly stylized and emotionally raw, Betty Blue became one of the most provocative European films of the 1980s, launching Béatrice Dalle into international stardom and cementing Beineix as a key figure of the cinéma du look movement. With its saturated visuals, iconic score by Gabriel Yared, and unflinching portrayal of desire and madness, the film remains a landmark of erotic romantic drama. This UK import edition includes both the original theatrical cut and the extended Director’s Cut, offering a complete view of Beineix’s uncompromising vision.
