Blood Hook [Blu-ray]

Blood Hook Blu-ray brings Jim Mallon’s offbeat 1986 slasher comedy to Blu-ray in a 2-disc Region Free edition loaded with interviews, archival material and Troma extras.

During the annual Muskie Madness fishing contest, the lake is packed with anglers hoping to land the biggest catch. But when a psychotic killer begins claiming victims with giant fish hooks, the competition takes a much darker turn.

With everyone using the same equipment and no obvious suspect, the murders become increasingly difficult to trace. Blending slasher conventions with macabre humour and a distinctly eccentric tone, Blood Hook stands apart from many of its mid-1980s genre contemporaries.
