Blood Hunt [Blu-ray]

Blood Hunt Blu-ray marks the American disc premiere of Javier Elorrieta’s ferocious 1980s Spanish shocker, newly presented from a 2K scan of the original camera negative. Blending the raw social realism of the Quinqui movement with the cruelty of American rural revenge cinema, Blood Hunt follows a troubled city doctor who relocates to an isolated village, only to uncover a horrific ritual rooted in a long-buried tragedy: teenage addicts hunted as human prey. Anchored by a powerhouse cast including Patxi Andión, Agustín González, Aldo Sambrell, Lola Gaos, Terele Pávez and Yolanda Ventura, Blood Hunt Blu-ray delivers one of Spain’s most confrontational genre films of the decade, hailed for its daring vision and relentless intensity.
