Blood Simple (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD]

Blood Simple 4K Ultra HD presents Joel and Ethan Coen’s stylish 1984 neo-noir in a UK import release from Studiocanal. A hard-boiled debut filled with tension, betrayal and blackly comic menace, the film announced the Coen brothers as vital new voices in American cinema.

M. Emmet Walsh stars as Visser, a sleazy Texas private eye hired by bar owner Marty to kill his unfaithful wife and her lover. But once Visser is given the job, he decides to alter the plan for his own benefit, setting off a chain of suspicion, violence and fatal misunderstanding.

Restored and approved by the Coen brothers, Blood Simple remains a masterclass in controlled suspense, sharp visual storytelling and noir atmosphere. This UK import 4K Ultra HD edition includes featurettes on the film’s design, production and Carter Burwell’s collaboration with the Coens.
