Buchanan Rides Alone (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Buchanan Rides Alone Blu-ray presents Budd Boetticher’s sharp, character-driven western in high definition. Part of the celebrated “Ranown” cycle with Randolph Scott, this lean and witty frontier tale finds a lone rider caught in the grip of a corrupt family dynasty.

When Tom Buchanan rides into a border town ruled by the criminal Agry clan, a simple act of justice quickly spirals into a dangerous standoff. Blending dry humour with tightly wound tension, Buchanan Rides Alone stands as one of Boetticher’s most entertaining and accessible westerns — a compact classic elevated by Scott’s understated performance and Boetticher’s precise direction.
