Buffet Froid Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD presents Bertrand Blier’s surreal cult classic in its world premiere 4K UHD release with Dolby Vision HDR.

Blending black comedy, absurdist satire and crime cinema, Buffet Froid follows unemployed drifter Alphonse Tram as he wanders through a bizarre world of accidental murders, strange encounters and deadpan philosophical conversations. After his wife is killed, Tram forms unlikely relationships with both a police inspector and the man responsible, drifting through increasingly surreal situations across empty apartment blocks, train stations and anonymous urban spaces.

Directed by Bertrand Blier and starring Gérard Depardieu, Bernard Blier and Jean Carmet, Buffet Froid has evolved from an infamous box office failure into a celebrated cult favourite praised for its dark humour and Buñuel-inspired surrealism.
