Bug (2006) Limited Edition (Australian Import) [Blu-ray]

Bug 2006 Limited Edition Blu-ray presents William Friedkin’s disturbing psychological horror film in its first Australian Blu-ray release. Adapted by Tracy Letts from his acclaimed stage play, the film stars Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon in an increasingly claustrophobic story of isolation, paranoia and obsession.

Agnes is a lonely waitress living with the scars of a traumatic past when she meets Peter, an eccentric drifter who offers companionship and the possibility of a fresh start. Their fragile relationship begins to unravel after Peter becomes convinced that microscopic bugs have invaded their motel room.

Also starring Harry Connick Jr., Bug turns an intimate relationship into a feverish descent into fear and delusion, driven by intense performances and Friedkin’s tightly controlled direction. This Limited Edition Australian import includes a 1080p Blu-ray presentation, two audio commentaries, archival Friedkin material, featurette, trailer and a limited edition slipcase with unique artwork.
