Cannibal Ferox [Director's Cut 3-Disc Deluxe Edition] [Blu-ray]

Cannibal Ferox Blu-ray returns in a 3-disc deluxe edition presenting the original unrated and uncensored director’s cut, newly restored and loaded with special features. Long banned and widely reviled, Umberto Lenzi’s notorious jungle shocker stands as one of the most infamous cannibal films ever made — a brutal assault on the senses filmed deep in the Amazon.

A group of American travellers venture into the rainforest where they fall victim to bloodthirsty tribes enraged by exploitation and violence brought upon them by outsiders. Combining graphic practical effects, jungle atmosphere and an unflinching tone, Cannibal Ferox cemented its reputation as a defining entry in Italian exploitation cinema. Grindhouse Releasing presents the most complete and definitive version ever released, featuring a new transfer from the original camera negative, commentary tracks, extensive interviews and a compact disc of Riz Ortolani’s music.
