Gunsmith Steve Farrell arrives in Bonanza Flats to demonstrate the rapid-firing Colt .45 revolver. When outlaw Brett Amrock steals two of the weapons and uses them to terrorize the territory, Farrell is wrongly accused of helping the gang. He must evade the authorities, pursue the outlaws and recover his guns. Randolph Scott, Ruth Roman and Zachary Scott star in Edwin L. Marinās Technicolor Western.
