Cutter's Club [Blu-ray]

Cutter’s Club Blu-ray resurrects a long-shelved Full Moon thriller starring horror icon Tony Todd in one of his final screen appearances. Directed by Charles Band and shot on slick 35mm by cinematographer Mac Ahlberg, the film blends medical horror, secret societies, and fetishistic body modification into a compact, blood-soaked chiller.

Two ambitious student doctors find themselves drawn into a clandestine underground group known as the Cutter’s Club, a circle of surgeons and mad scientists obsessed with pushing medicine beyond ethical and human limits. Overseen by a deranged doctor with godlike ambitions, the group’s experiments spiral rapidly into grotesque creature creation, surgical excess, and escalating violence.

Equal parts hospital horror and Full Moon-style monster mayhem, Cutter’s Club delivers carnage, practical effects, and macabre malpractice in a stripped-down, feverish burst. Rediscovered and finally released after years in obscurity, the film stands as a cult-minded curio and a fittingly unhinged late-career showcase for Tony Todd.
