Lech Kowalski’s documentary follows the Sex Pistols across their seven-city American tour in 1978, shortly before the band split. Handheld footage from clubs and bars is combined with interviews, performances and glimpses of punk fashion and culture. The film includes Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen, alongside performances by the Dead Boys, Generation X, the Rich Kids, X-Ray Spex and Sham 69. Music from the Clash and Iggy Pop helps frame this portrait of the late-1970s punk movement.
