Dante’s Peak 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray erupts with a brand new Dolby Vision HDR restoration sourced from a 4K scan of the original 35mm camera negative, approved by director Roger Donaldson. This high-intensity disaster thriller stars Pierce Brosnan as volcanologist Harry Dalton and Linda Hamilton as Mayor Rachel Wando, who race against time to save a small Pacific Northwest town moments before a dormant volcano unleashes catastrophic destruction. Featuring stunning large-scale practical effects, explosive set pieces, and breathtaking Cinemascope photography by Andrzej Bartkowiak, Dante’s Peak remains one of the most gripping disaster films of the 1990s.
