David "The Rock" Nelson Collection: Volume 3 Blu-ray dives deeper into the wildly unconventional world of SOV filmmaker David “The Rock” Nelson.
A one-man filmmaking force, Nelson has spent decades crafting backyard monster movies with unwavering passion, often starring in multiple roles while recruiting friends, family, and anyone nearby to join his productions. Working with minimal resources and maximum enthusiasm, his films blur the line between narrative and personal diary, creating a singular style rooted in pure DIY spirit.
This volume centres on Monster Tales (2002), an anthology hosted by Nelson himself in a Rod Serling-inspired role. Across three chaotic segments, vampires, werewolves, and classic monster archetypes collide with everyday suburban life, all filtered through Nelson’s unmistakable approach to storytelling.
