Dead Lover (UK Import) [Region B Blu-ray]

Dead Lover Blu-ray is a wildly inventive horror-comedy from writer, director and star Grace Glowicki that blends gothic romance, absurdist humour and mad-scientist mayhem into a uniquely offbeat cult experience. With its theatrical style and macabre charm, the film delivers an unforgettable twist on the classic tale of love beyond death.

A lonely gravedigger, shunned by others because she carries the scent of the dead, finally finds happiness when she falls in love with the man of her dreams. But after their whirlwind romance is cut tragically short by his death at sea, she becomes determined to bring him back to life. As her increasingly unhinged resurrection experiments spiral out of control, grief gives way to bizarre horror and dark comedy.

Written, directed by and starring Grace Glowicki, Dead Lover is an imaginative genre-bending romance that mixes body horror, eccentric humour and gothic fantasy into one unforgettable cinematic oddity.
