Dead Pigs [Blu-ray]

Dead Pigs Blu-ray presents Cathy Yan’s 2018 debut feature in a Region A release from Film Movement. Set against a rapidly modernizing Shanghai, the film follows a group of very different people whose lives begin to intersect after thousands of dead pigs are found floating down the Huangpu River.

An unlucky pig farmer, a determined homeowner, a lovestruck busboy, a disillusioned rich girl and an American expat chasing opportunity in China all find themselves caught up in a strange, satirical portrait of ambition, class and change.

Starring Zazie Beetz, Mason Lee, Meng Li, Vivian Wu and David Rysdahl, Dead Pigs is a sharp ensemble comedy-drama about modernization, identity and the unexpected connections between people trying to find their place. This Region A Blu-ray edition includes commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, booklet and limited edition slipcover.
