Death of a Cheerleader Blu-ray presents William A. Graham’s 1994 made-for-TV high school crime drama in a Region A limited edition release from Iconoscope. Originally broadcast as A Friend to Die For, the film stars Kellie Martin, Tori Spelling, Valerie Harper, Eugene Roche, James Avery, Christa Miller and Terry O’Quinn.

At Santa Mira High, Angela is determined to improve her social standing, join the school newspaper and make the cheerleading team. But the popular crowd is ruled by Stacy, whose cruelty and status make her both admired and resented. When Stacy is found dead, the tragedy shakes the entire community and exposes the pressures, rivalries and hidden tensions beneath the school’s polished surface.

Based on a real case, Death of a Cheerleader became a long-running cable TV favourite and remains one of the most memorable 1990s small-screen thrillers. This Blu-ray edition includes a new 4K scan and restoration from the original camera negative, restored stereo soundtrack, commentary, interview, visual essay, trailer, still gallery, booklet, reversible sleeve artwork and limited hard slipcase plus slipcover packaging.
