Decision At Sundown Blu-ray presents Budd Boetticher’s psychologically charged western in high definition. The third collaboration between Boetticher and Randolph Scott in the acclaimed Ranown cycle, this morally complex frontier drama explores vengeance, pride and the corrosive power of obsession.
Scott plays Bart Allison, a man determined to confront town boss Tate Kimbrough on the day of his wedding. What begins as a personal vendetta escalates into a tense standoff that exposes hidden loyalties and moral ambiguities within the community. Lean, uncompromising and emotionally resonant, Decision At Sundown stands as one of Boetticher’s most introspective westerns.
