Demons Of The Mind Limited (UK Import) [4K Ultra HD + Region B Blu-ray]

From Hammer’s fearless early 1970s era comes Demons Of The Mind 4K Ultra HD, a bleak, brutal, and psychologically charged descent into inherited madness. Directed by Peter Sykes, the film stands apart within Hammer’s catalogue for its raw intensity and uncompromising exploration of repression, trauma, and moral collapse.

After the violent death of his wife, Baron Zorn becomes obsessed with the belief that insanity runs through his bloodline. Determined to prevent the curse from continuing, he confines his children in brutal isolation — a decision that unleashes tragedy, violence, and irreversible horror. What follows is a harrowing portrait of obsession in which repression itself becomes the ultimate monstrosity.

Featuring powerful performances from Paul Jones, Patrick Magee, Yvonne Mitchell, and Michael Hordern, Demons Of The Mind abandons romantic gothic trappings in favour of stark psychological terror. Bold, disturbing, and emotionally relentless, it remains one of Hammer’s most daring and divisive works, now presented in a definitive 4K restoration for collectors and fans of gothic and psychological horror.
