Desperate Living [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Desperate Living 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray presents John Waters’ gleefully transgressive cult classic in a director-approved 4K restoration. The final entry in his infamous “trash trilogy,” this anarchic satire pushes boundaries with a twisted fairy tale of crime, exile, and rebellion.

After murdering her husband, neurotic housewife Peggy Gravel (Mink Stole) flees with her accomplice to Mortville — a bizarre outlaw community ruled by a tyrannical queen. Within this grotesque society, oppression and absurdity collide as its inhabitants plot revolt against their unhinged ruler.

Packed with outrageous set pieces, dark humour, and Waters’ signature underground sensibility, Desperate Living stands as both a shocking provocation and a strangely moral tale of defiance and liberation.
