Directed By Billy Wilder 1945-1959 LE Hardbox 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray turns the spotlight on one of Hollywood’s most accomplished and admired filmmakers. This Australian import collection brings together The Lost Weekend, Stalag 17 and Some Like It Hot, three essential films that showcase Wilder’s sharp intelligence, tonal range and command of noir, drama and comedy.

Born in Austria-Hungary before fleeing the rise of Nazism and building a legendary Hollywood career, Billy Wilder became one of cinema’s defining writer-directors. Across these three films, his work moves from the stark psychological realism of The Lost Weekend to the wartime suspense and bitter humour of Stalag 17, then into the all-time comic brilliance of Some Like It Hot.

This Limited Edition 6-disc Hardbox also includes the documentary Billy Wilder Speaks, hours of new and archival special features and a 168-page hardcover booklet. Limited to 1,500 copies, the set features The Lost Weekend on Blu-ray, Stalag 17 on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray, Some Like It Hot on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray and Billy Wilder Speaks on Blu-ray.
