Dr. Who And The Daleks 4K Ultra HD marks the North American UHD premiere of the colourful Technicolor feature that brought Dalekmania to the big screen. Produced by Milton Subotsky and Max J. Rosenberg and based on the BBC television serial created by Terry Nation, this 1965 sci-fi adventure reimagines the early Doctor Who universe with bold visuals, playful energy, and family-friendly spectacle.

When the eccentric inventor Dr. Who accidentally activates his time-traveling TARDIS, he and his companions are transported to the distant planet Skaro. There, they are thrust into a deadly conflict between the peaceful Thals and the ruthless Daleks, whose cry of “Exterminate!” became a defining moment in British pop culture. Directed by Gordon Flemyng, the film embraces a comic-strip sensibility, blending imaginative production design with an upbeat, adventurous tone that has made it a perennial favourite.

Starring Peter Cushing in a unique cinematic interpretation of the Doctor, alongside Roy Castle, Jennie Linden, and Roberta Tovey, this edition has been newly scanned in 4K from the original Techniscope 35mm negative by StudioCanal. Over six hours of special features explore the film’s production, legacy, and enduring place within the Doctor Who universe.
