Drucker in the Dugout [Blu-ray]

Drucker in the Dugout Blu-ray turns the principles of business management into an unconventional high school baseball story from Production I.G. Based on the bestselling novel by Natsumi Iwasaki, the anime follows an inexperienced student manager who discovers that Peter Drucker’s ideas about leadership may be exactly what her struggling team needs.

High schooler Minami reluctantly takes over management of her school’s mediocre baseball team while her best friend is in the hospital. Knowing almost nothing about the job, she picks up Peter Drucker’s Management by mistake, only to discover that its lessons about business can also be applied to people, teamwork and sports.

As Minami begins putting Drucker’s principles into practice, the players start working together, rediscovering their strengths and finding a new sense of purpose on and off the field. Produced by acclaimed anime studio Production I.G, Drucker in the Dugout blends baseball, comedy and an unexpectedly thoughtful approach to leadership and management.
