Duel To The Death [Blu-ray]

Duel to the Death Blu-ray presents Ching Siu-tung’s explosive 1983 martial-arts fantasy in a newly restored high-definition edition. Set during the Ming Dynasty, the film imagines a ritualized duel held every decade between China and Japan’s greatest fighters, only for the chosen champions to become entangled in a shadow war between ninjas and Shaolin monks. Marking the feature debut of Ching Siu-tung, the film is celebrated for its audacious visuals, supernatural flourishes, and relentlessly inventive choreography that would later define the director’s work across wuxia and fantasy cinema. A feverish blend of swordplay, mysticism, and operatic violence, Duel to the Death stands as one of the most imaginative action films of its era.
