Embodiment of Evil [Blu-ray + DVD]

After serving a 40-year prison sentence, Coffin Joe is finally released from the mental health wing of the São Paulo State Penitentiary. Back on the streets, the sadistic undertaker immediately resumes the obsession that landed him behind bars in the first place: finding a woman capable of bearing his “perfect” child. Accompanied by his loyal hunchbacked servant Bruno, Coffin Joe embarks on a fresh campaign of brutality, leaving a trail of terror while being tormented by spectral visions and the vengeful spirits of his past victims.

Embodiment of Evil Blu-ray + DVD marks the long-awaited third entry in the Coffin Joe Trilogy, following At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul and This Night I’ll Possess Your Corpse. Directed by José Mojica Marins, this notorious finale blends extreme modern gore with the character’s classic nihilistic philosophy. Synapse Films presents Embodiment of Evil Blu-ray + DVD in a high-definition transfer created from the original camera negative, paired with powerful 5.1 surround sound for the most immersive home viewing experience of Coffin Joe’s final descent.
