Evil Under the Sun [4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray]

Evil Under the Sun 4K Ultra HD brings Agatha Christie’s sun-soaked murder mystery to life in a dazzling new restoration. Peter Ustinov returns as Hercule Poirot, summoned to a luxurious island resort where glamour, egos, and old grudges simmer beneath the surface.

When a notoriously unpleasant stage star is found murdered, Poirot quickly realizes the puzzle is not who wanted her dead, but who did not. As motives pile up among the resort’s wealthy guests, the case unfolds into a clever web of deception, alibis, and carefully staged misdirection. The film features a remarkable ensemble cast including Diana Rigg, James Mason, Maggie Smith, Roddy McDowall, and Jane Birkin, each delivering sharp, character-driven performances.

Directed by Guy Hamilton and adapted by Anthony Shaffer, Evil Under the Sun blends classic Christie plotting with vibrant location photography and elegant production design. This 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray edition presents the film from a new Dolby Vision master sourced from the original camera negative, alongside commentary and archival supplements exploring its enduring appeal.
