Fantomas Returns! (UK Import) [Region B Blu-ray]

Fantomas Returns! Blu-ray collects André Hunebelle’s beloved Fantômas trilogy, a wildly entertaining blend of crime, comedy, espionage and comic book-style adventure starring Louis de Funès and Jean Marais.

Reviving the legendary French master criminal for the 1960s pop-art era, these colourful films follow the ongoing battle between the elusive Fantômas, journalist Jérôme Fandor and the perpetually overwhelmed Commissaire Juve. Across the trilogy, Fantômas unleashes elaborate schemes involving impersonation, kidnapping, futuristic superweapons and international crime while his pursuers stumble through increasingly outrageous adventures.

Drawing inspiration from James Bond, The Pink Panther and classic pulp serials, the Fantômas films became massive hits in France thanks to their inventive action, comedic energy and unforgettable performances from comedy icon Louis de Funès.
