A lethal drug sold as Fatal Beauty is spreading through Los Angeles, and undercover narcotics detective Rita Rizzoli is determined to trace it to the people responsible. Whoopi Goldberg plays the officer whose investigation puts her at odds with her own superiors as she pursues a powerful drug dealer.
Getting close to the operation means dealing with Mike Marshak, the dealerās bodyguard, played by Sam Elliott. Ritaās suspicion of him is complicated by their attraction, adding a personal risk to a case already marked by violence. RubĆ©n Blades co-stars in Tom Hollandās crime comedy.
