Feed (2005) (Limited Edition) [Blu-ray]

Feed 2005 Blu-ray presents Brett Leonard’s relentlessly disturbing crime thriller, a film that plunges headfirst into obsession, exploitation, and the darkest corners of internet-era pathology. Equal parts procedural thriller and transgressive horror, Feed is infamous for pushing boundaries while grounding its shock in grim psychological realism.

Australian cybercrime investigator Philip Jackson has seen it all, but his latest case pushes him beyond familiar limits. While tracking online fetish communities, he uncovers a disturbing American website catering to so-called “feeders” and “gainers,” men who derive pleasure from the extreme weight gain of women. As missing persons reports begin to mount, Jackson becomes convinced that the site’s anonymous operator is force-feeding women to death for sexual gratification. What follows is a tense, morally suffocating hunt across continents, where voyeurism, control, and violence blur into something truly grotesque.

Directed by Brett Leonard, known for exploring the darker intersections of technology and humanity, Feed is an unflinching descent into obsession that refuses to soften its subject matter. It’s a cult-era shocker that remains unsettling precisely because of how plausibly it frames its horrors, making it a notorious and divisive entry in early-2000s extreme thrill cinema.
