Female Mercenaries On Zombie Island Collection [Blu-ray + DVD]

Female Mercenaries on Zombie Island Blu-ray delivers one of the most unhinged micro-budget SOV curiosities of the 1990s, bursting with post-apocalyptic chaos, mad science, and gleefully excessive W.A.V.E. exploitation tropes. Shot on S-VHS and driven by pure backyard-epic ambition, the film throws together mercenary warriors, cannibal cults, brain transplants, cloning experiments, bondage, torture, and catfights into a nonstop barrage of jaw-dropping DIY genre insanity. What it lacks in polish it more than compensates for in audacity, making it a true cult artifact of underground shot-on-video horror.

This Blu-ray and DVD combo from Camp Motion Pictures also includes the equally outrageous sequel Mad Doctor of Zombie Island, along with two never-before-released Super 8 short films that expand the filmmaker’s homemade exploitation universe. Starring genre icon Tina Krause alongside Pamela Sutch and Deanna Demko, Female Mercenaries on Zombie Island stands as a time capsule of mid-90s SOV excess, restored and preserved for collectors who crave the strangest corners of horror cinema.
