Flight of the Navigator (UK Import) [Blu-ray]

Flight of the Navigator Blu-ray presents one of Disney’s most beloved science-fiction adventures in a beautifully restored UK edition. When 12-year-old David Freeman mysteriously vanishes in 1978 and reappears eight years later without having aged a day, his world is turned upside down. Government scientists can’t explain what happened — until David discovers a top-secret alien spacecraft and meets MAX, its wisecracking onboard computer. Together, they embark on a dazzling journey through time and space as David races to return home to the life he lost.

Directed by Randal Kleiser, Flight of the Navigator blends heartfelt coming-of-age drama with groundbreaking visual effects and a distinctly 1980s sense of wonder. The film’s emotional core, playful tone, and innovative effects have cemented its status as a nostalgic sci-fi classic. This Second Sight UK Blu-ray features a brand new 4K scan and restoration supervised by Kleiser himself, alongside an extensive slate of new interviews and archival material exploring the film’s legacy.
