Ghastlies [Blu-ray + DVD]

Ghastlies Blu-ray delivers a neon-soaked, creature-feature throwback that gleefully channels the spirit of 1980s “tiny terror” movies through a modern indie lens. When three sorority sisters plan a weekend initiation for their awkward friend, their getaway derails after they stumble upon a crashed craft carrying a trio of pint-sized extraterrestrial ghouls. What begins as a prank-filled retreat quickly turns into a battle for survival as the group teams up with their boyfriends and relies on quick thinking, sheer nerve, and a lot of attitude to send the ghastly invaders back into the cosmos.

Directed by Brett Kelly, Ghastlies embraces retro creature effects, playful genre energy, and a pulsing electro-pop score that perfectly matches its cartoonish chaos. Part horror homage, part sci-fi comedy, the film plays like a love letter to Gremlins-era midnight movies, delivered with tongue firmly in cheek. This Blu-ray and DVD combo release from Camp Motion Pictures packs in a solid lineup of bonus features, making it an ideal pick for fans of modern cult creature cinema.
