Ghostwatch [Blu-ray]

Ghostwatch Blu-ray presents the infamous British reality-horror broadcast that permanently blurred the line between fiction and live television. Framed as a serious BBC investigation into paranormal activity, the programme follows a team of trusted presenters and a live camera crew as they examine what is claimed to be the most haunted house in Britain. What begins as a controlled, lightly sceptical enquiry slowly unravels into something far more disturbing.

As the broadcast progresses, subtle abnormalities escalate into genuine terror, leaving both the presenters and the audience questioning what is real. Originally aired on Halloween night in 1992, Ghostwatch triggered widespread public reaction, including an unprecedented flood of calls to the BBC switchboard. Its impact reshaped discussions around broadcast ethics, realism, and horror storytelling, with its legacy still felt decades later.

Now a cult classic of pseudo-documentary horror, Ghostwatch is presented here on Blu-ray for the first time, accompanied by extensive archival and newly produced bonus features that explore its creation, reception, and lasting cultural significance.
